朝鮮 白磁透彫芭蕉文筆筒 Y-569
朝鮮王朝時代、18世紀中頃から後半にかけての広州官窯（金沙里窯末期～分院里窯初期頃）で焼造された、見事な白磁透彫蕉葉文筆筒です。
円筒形の器体には、大きく伸びやかな芭蕉の葉を幾重にも交差させ、葉と葉の間を大胆に彫り透かしています。厚みのある葉の輪郭、流麗な葉脈、巧みな重なりが生み出す立体感は見事で、力強さと端正さを兼ね備えた優れた造形です。
釉調は、わずかに青みを帯びた柔らかな乳白色。金沙里窯を思わせるしっとりとした白磁釉の風合いと、分院里へと受け継がれる洗練された彫刻技術が美しく調和しています。
上下には整然とした縄状文様を巡らし、躍動感あふれる芭蕉の葉の透彫を引き締めています。
底部は高台内全面に滑らかに施釉され、畳付には砂に乗せて焼成した砂目跡が明瞭に残る、官窯系白磁らしい極めて端正な作行きです。
潤いある釉色と精緻で大胆な透彫技法が響き合う、朝鮮王朝の文人文化を偲ばせる格調高い優品です。

An exceptional white porcelain brush pot with an intricately carved openwork banana leaf design, attributed to the Gwangju royal kilns during the mid to late 18th century, around the transitional period from the late Geumsa-ri to the early Bunwon-ri kilns.
The cylindrical body is boldly pierced with large, gracefully overlapping banana leaves. The thick, sculptural leaf contours, flowing veins, and skillfully layered composition create a remarkable sense of depth, combining dynamic strength with refined elegance.
The glaze is a soft, milky white with a subtle bluish tint. Its rich, lustrous quality, reminiscent of Geumsa-ri porcelain, harmonizes beautifully with the sophisticated carving techniques associated with the Bunwon-ri kilns.
Neatly carved rope-pattern borders encircle the upper and lower sections, elegantly framing the lively openwork foliage.
The recessed base is smoothly glazed throughout, while the unglazed footrim retains distinct traces of sand from the firing process, reflecting the exceptionally refined craftsmanship characteristic of royal kiln porcelain.
Boasting a beautiful glaze tone and masterly pierced openwork technique, this work represents an exceptionally fine example of white porcelain that truly embodies the elegance and noble spirit of Joseon-period literati culture.
